OROANTRAL FISTULA: An Overview

Oroantral fistula (OAF) is an abnormal connection between the oral cavity and maxillary sinuses. This pathology develops when oroantral communicant fails to close spontaneously; thus, it remains patent epithelialized. If not treated immediately, this condition might be passage for bacteria enter sinuses, causing infection, sinusitis, or delayed healing. Consideration of OAF therapy should consider width defect, epithelialization, whether there infection. article aims understand learn about management case so that can applied scientifically in medical practice.
